This past friday was the 27th week of my pregnancy. Not too much longer to go, thank goodness. It's mostly been an easy pregnancy but I'm getting warn out. I was having some contractions last week off and on. But they've gone away. Since then I've been trying to take it easy. I think that has helped. I just try to do to much. So feeling better now. I'm still having alot of problems with sciatic. It seems like it's just getting worse and worse. It's definetly not any fun.
This weekend my aunt laurie and uncle mark and my cousin kristen and her two kids came out to visit and spent the night saturday. We had a great time. It was really nice to see them. It had been about 6 months since the last I'd seen them. But now I'm so warn out. It was a busy weekend. Other than that nothing really new.
Lucas is doing great. He gets bigger and bigger everyday. I'm so lucky to have such a good little boy. He's been great. It sure makes things easier on me. He's just so well behaved, and always listens to me. He's been sleeping well so I get plenty of rest. He usually sleeps about 8pm to 8am straight through the night then goes for a nap from 10 am to 12pm and another nap from about 3 pm to 5pm. During the times he's awake we just play around the house. He's really good about letting my get chores done and will play in his room on his own for a bit. Sometimes we get outside but it's been so hot that he usually has to wait until later in the day when his daddy can take him out. But we have a really nice backyard and we set up the pool and we also have a park just the next block over which we can get to from the back gate of our yard. I really like our new place.
I'm starting to slowly get ready for baby Ryan's arrival. I had mike bring up all of our baby stuff from the basement so I can go trough it to see what we could reuse. Luckily we won't need much as far as clothes. Atleast not for the first 6 months. We still have to purchase a double stroller and another crib and dresser. And I need a changing table. At walmart they have a crib, dresser, and changing table set for 200.00 dollars. I really like it and for the price you can't beat it. And it matches all of the baby furniture that we already have for lucas. Other than that we'll just need some other things like diapers, wipes, rash cream, pacifiers...stuff like that. I still have everything from lucas as far as the swing, bassinet, car seat and all that kind of stuff. The only thing is that Ryan being born close to winter we were concerned about having warmer clothes for the first 5 months or so. But going through all my clothes from lucas I found that I had a ton of sleepers. And that's basically what you use for the newborn stages alot of the time anyways. So financially that's great for us!
Soon I'm hoping that I will have a baby belly picture for you all to see. I have to have Mike take one of me and get it downloaded to the computer. So hopefully soon...

Make sure you're drinking plenty of water - that can help a lot in the way you feel & especially with the contractions. Early contractions are normal but can be a sign of dehydration. :-) Well, I hope you feel better!
Love the new layout!
