Lucas is now 6 months old. He will be 7 months old on christmas Eve. He's growing so much. At his 6 month check up he weigh 18 and a half pounds and was 27 inches long. He just got in his first tooth a week ago. It's all very exciting. He's not crawling yet. In a month he should be. We're still working on him sitting unsupported. He started solid food. He likes almost anything except green beans, broccoli, and I think he's allgeric to dairy. He hasn't been sleeping well through the night. He was doing good for awhile but once he started getting that tooth in he keeps waking up through the night. And due to the teething he spits up his formula alot so I have to give him smaller bottles which means I have to feed him every 3 hours now. I only got a glimpse of sleeping through the night. I'm looking forward to a full nights sleep.

Lucas dressed up as Tigger for halloween. We thought it would be perfect for him since he's always bouncing around. And he loves winnie the pooh. We went trick or treating with his older cousins Eddie and Tommy. We weren't out too long before he started getting hungry so we had to head back and we hung out with uncle Eddie and passed out candy to the trick or treaters. Then we went to visit papa Mardis and aunties Terra and Nicole. We didn't get to see grandma. But we took alot of pictures for her to see. After visiting papa and aunties we went to see Great Grandma Hajek(mike's grandma). It was a fun and exciting day.

Lucas update

Here are some pics of Lucas taken within the past month.

On October 24th lucas turned 5 months old. Time has really been going by so fast. I can't belive how much he's growing. Milestones he's mastered are rolling over, holding his head up on his own, trying to sit up by himself, bearing weight on his legs, laughing and cooing, smiling, and sleeping through the night(only a few time). He's not completely sitting up on his own yet but within the next few weeks he should be able to. He's been eating baby cereal, peaches, and applesauce. He started applecause when he was 3 months old to help him poop better. He's always constipated. Poor guy. And now he loves his cereal. I make it with his juice and I put peaches or applesauce in it and he just loves it. I try to give it to him each night before bed. It helps him sleep longer through the night. Our next milestones will be teeting and crawling, and I think they're going to be happening very soon. The pediatrician said he was beginning to teeth at his 4 month check up. Today he had an appointment with the pediatrician and weighed in at 17 pounds and 10 ounces and was 27 inches long. At his 4 month check up he was 15 pounds and 14 ounces and was 26 inches long. So he's gained about 2 pounds and an inch in length. He's thin and long but has big chubby cheeks that are so adorable I just can't help to kiss them all the time. And I know you can't tell in his pictures but his eyes are not red they are blue. He has bright blue eyes. Of course I think he is the cutest baby ever!

Mike and I are doing well. Just still trying to adjust to being new parents. It's difficult on the relationship, but I know we'll make it through it.

Happy Halloween. Lucas is going to be tigger for halloween. He's always bouncing and jumping around so we thought it would suit him perfectly. And he does like winnie the pooh, too. It's one of his favorites. I'll take alot of pictures of him in his costume for everyone to see.

Lucas will be 11 weeks old this thursday. I can' t believe how fast it's gone by. Recently he's learned how to roll over. When he's on his tummy he can roll over onto his back all by himself. It's crazy. He's so strong. He's already starting to hold up his head on his own and he's starting to smile. He loves to play with his toys. A few weeks ago I went back to work and it's been hard juggling between work and home. It's hard to get much done around the house. When I'm home I'm with the baby and with the hours that Mike works he sleeps in during the day. But we do what we can. Usually the weekends is when we try to get things done. I wish I could be a stay at home mom though. It would be nice to be with Lucas alot more and to be able to keep up with the house. I know it's hard on my mom too, to watch Lucas everynight while I'm at work.
